Slavonia – A golden valley set between great rivers
The fertile plains of Slavonia are famous for their world-renowned wine cellars and the generosity of its people. Natural parks, vast forests, medieval fortresses, outstanding archeological treasures and a unique saltwater spring (a survivor from prehistoric times when this was the Pannonian Sea) are among the riches of a region that spreads between the Sava, Drava and Danube rivers.
